You have the right to request deletion of your personal data from IPO Guruji at any time. We respect your privacy and will process your deletion request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data through any of the following methods:

What Data Is Deleted

When you request account deletion, we will permanently delete:

• Your account credentials (email, phone number)
• Profile information (name, preferences)
• Watchlist and saved IPOs
• Alert preferences and notification settings
• Search history and app usage data
• Saved calculator results
• Any comments or forum posts

What Data Is Retained

For legal and operational reasons, we may retain certain data:

• Legal Compliance: Data required by law (tax records, transaction logs)
• Security: Fraud prevention and security incident records
• Analytics: Anonymized usage statistics (not linked to your identity)
• Backups: Data in backups will be deleted per our backup retention policy (90 days)

Data Deletion Timeline

Data Export Before Deletion

Before requesting deletion, you can download a copy of your data:

• Go to Settings → Privacy → Download My Data
• We'll email you a JSON file containing all your personal data
• This includes your watchlist, preferences, and usage history

Consequences of Data Deletion

After deletion:

• You will lose access to your account
• Your watchlist and preferences will be lost
• You will stop receiving notifications and alerts
• You cannot recover your data
• You can create a new account with the same email after 30 days
